The kikimora is a Russian creature that is said to be the spirit of an unborn baby. Apparently will start shrieking in the middle of the night if the house she haunts is dirty, and it is said that if you see the kikimora knitting during the night, you are doomed to die the next morning.

So I guess this is my rendition of the mythological creature. My favorite thing about this piece is probably how she's not just... standing there like how I usually end up drawing people, which is BORING. Still, I feel dirty for coping out for the gradient background in the end. :(

I laughed. In a good way. XD Aside from the description which is bound to give me nightmares, this is the most epic thing- aside from a MechKoopa getting stuck in a wall. *snigger*(See my scarps) I have seen all day.

It's actually quite abstract looking. I also like the choice of colors. The exrpession is priceless.

Screeching in the night, eh? Reminds me of Banshees...

This is one awesome piece. More importantly, I loves the hard shadows and what the creature is doing.

But, why it is doing this, could be a mystery...but I have a solution. Maybe this monster got so angry about the "messiness" of the house, that it decided to clean it.

Anyway, Awesome drawing, love the way you drew it also.
